If KSC was not in the equation for so long, by now, I would stand out to say, Emmis & Q would possibly be doing CHR on 101.1 with Mancow in the mornings. But no one will do CHR with WKSC doing it, B doing their Urban/Hispanic leaning deal, and Power leaning young.

Ahhhh, I am not alone. =) HA HA.
Even WLS-AM of the 70's and earlier, WCFL, WDHF/WMET, WEFM......... all the trendsetters of the times that attempted to take down the Big 89!

Yes they bill like nuts for CC. They have the 25-54 and even the African American demo locked up (esp VAZ & NUA). And as far as them trampling along each other???? Radio loves it. Why? If a listener is going from VAZ to NUA or even VAZ to GCI within a 15 min period, CC wins. The listener has not left their CLUSTER of stations. They only loose when they leave to a competitiors signal. Easiest way to explain it.

JMK messed up because they did not evolve properly. If they had left out the 80's stuff, dropped off the early 60's stuff and focused on 70's, they would have made the tough transition. As we see, Infinity did not want to.
It is a shame 60s music is gone, but, it is a bigger shame that the mid 40's woman which was in their teen years in the 70's (and now a prime demo to sell) can't hear the music of their generation. <P ID="signature">______________
