They should have never let that wonderful, star quality, human being escape their grasp. He was such a wonderful influence there. So easy to work with, so easy to get along with, so much of a positive person, much like the lights of a service station when your gas guage is pointing on "E" in the middle of the night. Unless they bring him back and bring him back very soon, I'm terribly afraid the fallout will affect each and every station in the market. I propose they honor him by renaming "Sheridan" with "Morley Road". Imagine seeing his name on the exit sign instead of that old, decrepid Mike Sheridan.

WRMF was at one time a radio station of radio stations and had some of the best on-air talent in town, although times have changed, and rest assured you can bet with all the change's, Wealthy Richard M. Fairbanks and my bud Don Wright would be rolling over in their grave's!

One of their liners said it best: “WRMF, with more variety than a record store.” As a 27-year-old male, I wasn’t quite in their target, but as a radio professional (at what turned out to be the end of my career), I appreciated Don Wright and a radio station that could go head-to-head with the best of what New York City had to offer. I never met Russ Morley, but he ran a hell’ova radio station.
