WRNE Translator

The 101.1 translator is supposed to be 250 watts from 1099 feet HAAT on the WJTC tower. The coverage certainly seems to bear those specs out.

Dunno why Pensacola's translators are all above 100 MHz. Someone would have to move one in from somewhere else and so far they've all just happened to be in that part of the dial. I know there's at least one pending translator for Mobile on 96.9 that's been on hold for years, maybe some will come through the pipe for P'cola too, eventually.
 
Sounds like an awful expensive temporary setup unless its possible to duplex 250 watts and 100,000 watts on the same antenna.
