WRNO Flip...FINALLY!!

Well, it finally happened folks. Around 6 am this morning, I flipped the dial from 99.5 FM. No longer am I going to wait around for the flip to new/talk. I think radio will be re-invented before WRNO ever gets around to the flip. Who even cares anymore?
Their whole reason to flip was because now in the post Katrina era, New Orleanians need iformation more than ever. Well, first of all, why bring Hannity in? We need local information. People living in a FEMA trailer while rebuilding their home need local information that affects them immediately. Secondly, all this time, people have already found their RELIABLE source of constant and immediate information elsewhere. Why would you try another station??
Just my two cents.
I will leave WRNO to everyone else.

Last time I checked the hd rado website, there are no HD stations in the New Orleans area. That was about two weeks ago. Is this correct? I am interested in HD radio, but am waiting to hear of a station to go HD.

I know the PBS station has it but doesn't run it full time. Several of the Entercom stations have the equipment but I don't know their install status.
