In VA, at 6:30 PM EST, I can hear a strange-sounding talk show on 7505 with a signal fluctuating in strength. WRNO's website does indicate its current format is religion. I think WRNO Shortwave used to be a rock station until it got sold in 2001.

Back in the first half of the 1990s WRNO used to run the Rush Limbaugh show without commercials. The commercial slots were filled with perfectly timed comedy bits. IIRC, the productions were put together by WABC production announcer Johnny Donovan, who also is the image voice announcer for Rush's imaginary EIB network.
Radio network affiliate relations types told me that Rush was probably buying the time on WRNO himself just so he could say that he was heard on shortwave all over the world.
