I've been listening to WRNO and these guys really are doing a great job. Today Robyn Walensky, a former colleague of mine, had an exclusive interview with Sgt. Robert Guidry, the cop in trouble for wearing the powder blue shirt. I enjoy listening online. Nice work, guys.

New York Dude - glad you're listening online because NOBODY is listening here. Castner & Walensky and John Osterlind still suck. Between the three of them, they've taken credit for everything since the invention of refrigeration. I'm sure it's C&W and Osterlind who are responsible for Chief Riley backing down and not the front page articles in the Times-Pic, the multiple stories on tv, or the hours that WWL spent on the issue.

One of the problems I have with the three of them is that they are all outsiders and want to point out issues and try to tell us what is important when they don't know. Don't tell me New Orleans sucks, or the Mayor of Mandeville is an idiot. I know that. Give me solutions. If you don't know what you're talking about, if you don't know what the problems are, let alone solutions that could make our lives better, shut up and put on guests who do.

As is the case with many stations, if Clear Channel didn't have Rush, they would have pulled the plug on this mess a long time ago, and your friend would be where she was before she came to New Orleans - UNEMPLOYED.
