WRNO's new tentative date from Rock to Rant is July 4th

This is the 2nd time - that i know of - that they ignored these supposed deadlines to switch. There may have been even more. At some point were going to have to ignore supposed BS switch.
 
So who wants to bet they don't announce the third time anymore considering the supposed delays...

I say stop (blanking) us around, flip it to hot rock/real talk (have say Hannity and O and A mornings, rock it with new rock the rest of the day:)

It's going to happen, now when that's another question, but I do know that a well known New Orleans name is going to be on the station and another well known name might appear on another talk station in New Orleans

if they play hannity and new rock they will have no ratings. i just cant see that happening. stick to one format. opie and anthony and bill o reilly on one station is alieniating both audiences. conservatives want listen because opie and anthony are perverts and vice versa. i dont think any change is coming. i think its a ploy to get people to listen.
 
so the new tenative date is labor day?? please boycott clear channel. enough with these games.. ::)

Uhhh. They said it was going to happen in June. They said it was going to happen in July.
And why do we need more local Voices. 870 , and 690 already send the undead hoard our way ( erik asher, and garland robbinette) Give us some syndicated voices please !
 
Yes we really need Bill Bennett, Doctor Laura and Joy Browne to make this a better city...Why doesn't someone just air rush 24/7, they would have atleast one listener

Well I dunno If I'de want to hear rush 24/7. But i agree even on the issue of a completely syndicated conservative station/libertarian/moderate station. Alot of the syndicated people i disagree with are more entertaining then our local's. Also we already have a 24hr sports channel, with redundency for sports on 690 and 870.
 
Unless they put Opie and Anthony back on the air in New Orleans, I'm not holding my breath for anything exciting. The best radio tends to be home grown, and those talents tend not to travel well. Think about it, over the past three decades we've had who?.. Stern and Imus, and ... ?
