As I have variable reliability on reception of a pair of New Haven stations, I tend to rescan frequently as I adjust my antenna because direct entry doesn't add a station properly with my current TV (my old DTV converter had no issues with this) and many times the effort of trying to add a station by rescanning results in another station vanishing because the antenna isn't getting enough signal at the moment of rescan.
Anyway... I did a rescan last night and analog WRNT-48 Hartford was gone, at the time I figured they might have either had a transmitter problem or finally went kaput (I mean how can a station that is 24/7 infomercials survive???). I awoke early this morning and figured why not see if I can get any changes in reception, instead of infomercial junk on an analog signal, I'm getting them in Digital with the AMGTV that they once had (and lost and had again and lost and so on), but this time not with the overmodulated signal they had in the past, but without audio at all. Also, there is nothing yet as far as identification of the station and program information is also not up either.
I'm hoping they can keep some form of entertainment programming on this time and not end up as wasted space infomercials again, I was actually watching them as AMGTV from time to time, and how about once the dust settles, a 48.2 or 3 or whatever.
