WROD - Daytona Beach (Ron Risch)

WROD was always a favorite of mine, especially during the days of Ron Risch. Has to be one of my all-time favorite deejays. He sounded like an older guy with a smooth delivery and what a vocabulary that man had. Don't know where he went after WROD, but heard he had passed away a number of years ago. WROD does great oldies nowadays, but during the 25 years or so that they were standards, they were absolutely the best, in my opinion.

I remember that location, but you should see where they are now. Wow, at the entrance of the Chart House overlooking a huge high-end marina on the Halifax. They ought to call it Cool 1340 in honor of it's location. Breathtaking in this old rascals opinion.
