WROD Daytona Beach

Sometime ago WRODs owner had applied to move it's tower site from the corner of South Beach Street and Wilder Boulevard to another location although I don't recall to new proposed tower site. Can anyone verify if WROD did, in fact, move, or is it still transmitting from its former location at the corner of Beach and Wilder?

I have been to Daytona 4 times over the past 3 months and WROD 1340 hasn't been on the air. How do they get away with still feeding their translator at 104.7?

Pulled up the last STA letter on FCC file from Sept 2021:

Within it, the FCC agrees to extend the STA while it affirms the owner's stated claim they intend to file a form 301 application "within the next month", requesting to permanently move the facility to new location as part of a agreement to sell the station.

250 watts ND at about 150 feet right now, reads about like what they're pushing out ... and that's for both day and night operations.

Hope this helps.

Byron
