WROG 93.3 FM - Chambersburg, PA Sold to WITF

The new station licensed to Chambersburg, PA; formerly licensed to Cumberland, MD has been sold to WITF Inc. for a whopping $875,000.

Bob Stevens' Broadcast Communications Inc. of Greensburg, PA sold the former Country giant of Western Maryland, after moving the station to Chambersburg; in order to improve his WANB 103.1 FM in Waynesburg.

WROG 102.9 FM had been a very powerful station at one point. But, fell silent in July.

WITF Inc. plans on making WROG a non-commercial facility.
