Pretty sure Valdosta still has their Active station. It just moved to a translator (106.9). Also, I think Columbus still has their 106.9 (also a translator), which is Active.
Valdosta does have a translator but not a full power. Columbus doesn't anymore I don't believe. Columbus may can get the alt stations out of Montgomery but doubt it. Also, spoke with someone for a while at Q106 and they mentioned their stint with active rock at night and apparently it was billing concerns that caused them to end it. No plans on going into active or even mainstream which sucks. They also doubt alt would do well in Macon which is probably true though I've always said if I had a radio station, it would be an alt/active hybrid 2000 to now with 90s weekends.
