WROL-AM 950 Up To Its Old Tricks?

I've noticed that WROL-AM 950 hasn't been very assiduous about powering down at sunset; Saturday evening, as I was on the highway heading home to beat the storm, I checked out WROL's reception, and its signal was H-U-G-E many miles from Saugus. Salem has let its station operating on 1150 AM (for the time being WWDJ) run with daytime pattern 24/7 in the past, but at least it was directional . WROL is 5K NDA and when it fails to comply with the rules, it can interfere with SEVERAL signals elsewhere.

If WROL isn't cutting to its 90 watt night power, it'll plow under the stations in Utica, Rochester, and here in Phily. Not forgetting the litle 950 in MD.

Last night (Sunday 1/11 into Monday 1/12), WROL appeared to be operating with the licensed (90W) night power.

They're supposed to power down at 4:30 pm, and I could hear a preacher pontificating until about 5:30, then poof...gone, replaced by WIBX doing a storm-coverage promo (what, you expected a commercial?).
