WROR.com: New on-air schedule

I don't know how permanent these changes may or may not be but WROR.com shows JC Haze now holding down afternoon drive and Stella Mars holding down 7pm-midnight. Previously, following Paul Perry's and Julie D's departures, the schedule merely showed "The 60s 70s and 80s Music" in those timeslots.

Daytime (10am to 4pm) remains 'hosted' by listeners. No one is listed for overnights but I have heard a woman overnight (in the rare times I'm listening overnight) and it might be either Jessica (who fills in on various stations) or JD who does weekends on Worcester's WXLO.

Also, Mauzy Stafford has been added to Sunday mornings and Huggy (from sister station WTKK) is on Sunday nights:

Mon. - Fri.

12 mid 5:30 am The 60's, 70's & 80's...All in One Place

Can somebody please explain to me why an adult radio station would have a jock at night, but not in the midday? Are adults more likely to be listening at 11 AM or 11 PM?

Nights, 7-Midnight are definitely voicetracked though. I'm not sure if they've since fixed it, but last week, when Stella was talking, the display on HD Radio was displaying "VOICETRACKER/Voice Track Here."

I just heard JC Haze do a break in the mid-day, so the shift isn't totally jockless. Could have been voicetracked, though.

Today is a holiday for alot of people (me included) so they may not have the listener-hosting today.

I'm listening now. Sounds like JC has the shift for the day.

Stella Mars also took over from Jackie Brush as host of Sunday Morning Jazz on Magic.

Mauzy is on WROR this afternoon.

Checked Magic's website. They've still got Jackie listed and as host of Sunday Morning Jazz. But if you click on that program under the program link, it's updated with Stella's name. Such a turn of events. ;D
