WROR Ninety Eight and a Half Boston Ron Edwards 1979

I believe that was the "radio name" for Ron Dwyer, currently on WATD. Sounding a little younger 33 years ago.

Interesting hybrid of soft AC and "soft" oldies, starting that clip with "Sometimes In Winter" from the second Blood, Sweat & Tears album (sung by Steve Katz). No major commercial station here has played that for decades!

A few seconds of Arnie "Woo-Woo" Ginsburg at the end!

I t does sound like Ron, a little bit higher, but Ronzo just the same.

Ron was also the voice of the original WKBG (channel 56) sign-off. Possibly the sign-on as well. Music was by Bert Kaempfert.
