WROR playing songs I haven't heard in months today

Wow. Something different on the radio. The HD-2 channel is still playing 70's oldies though.

It's been precisely seven months since you've heard these songs. They're doing a "Christmas In July" thing for some reason, pulling out the Christmas music in the middle of the summer. Pretty weird. At least it is a "different" idea...

I took a long lunch and while running errands heard David Bowie and Bing Crosby doing that God awful duet and quickly punched up the XM 60's on 6.

WTF were they thinking doing Christmas in July? Who cares? I couldn't have been the only person who tuned them out for the rest of the day.

Because everybody else does it. Consultants have been touting this stuff year after year after year. Is it any wonder why radio means nothing to the 18-34 yeard old.
