WROR sounding more soulful

This is definitely a welcome change. I have been listening to ROR and have heard more Earth Wind and Fire, Barry White, Tina Turner "What's Love Got To Do With It?", and others. I hope they keep adding more 70's and 80's soul. This will help to make up for the void of not having a classic soul station. Better yet, you get to hear the classic soul on FM.

WROR actually started slowly adding soul hits a few years ago. It seemed that around that time they decided that it wasn't worth trying to compete with WZLX for straight Classic Rock anymore, since they had overtaken 'ZLX in the ratings. It seems that they've been going for a piece of WODS's larger pie since then, and adding soul hits was necessary to do that.
