WROU Playing More Urban

Is it me or is WROU playing more Urban lately? I see they have "Body 2 Body" by Ace Hood & Chris Brown in rotation. As well as Motivation by Kelly Rowland & Lil Wayne, How To Love, and tons of urban gold. Maybe they're filling the void of the urban format in the city since Hot is strongly rhythmic.

Well, having looked at the ratings, WDHT seems to be dominating the Top 40 battle with its Rhythmic direction, with WROU not far behind. As for WROU playing more Urban hits, its probably due to these songs crossing over to the Urban AC chart, so it looks like they're just following the trend.

Not all of the urban hits they're playing popped up on the Urban AC chart... I think if it's R&B-sounding, they're playing it. What also amazes me is that they're the only Main Line station that doesn't stream and they're one of the top-rated AC stations in the city. The signal is probably good enough to pick up in offices, but come on Main Line, they had Fly streaming first, then Click of course... and they even got Hot streaming. Where's your heritage station, WROU?
