WROZ/WKZF sold??

Rumor being spread today is that Hall Communications (WROZ/WKZF/WLPA) has been sold. Who bought them? How much was paid? What happens to the staff?

Doubtful. Lancaster is one of the key Hall markets. Bill Baldwin, company VP and director is based there. The stations make money, and Hall hasn't sold stations in decades. If anything, they'd be in a position to buy.

In fact, Hall just spent $691,000 through majority-owned Cross Country Communications for a class A CP at 95.3 in Celoron, NY.

I don't know why you would sell your cluster just three months after you blow up the smooth jazz station... unless it's to make the portfolio a little more appealing, perhaps? But now that the weakest link of the bunch has been replaced, and there appears to be a big buzz with its replacement, why sell? ???
