WRPM Poplarvile to 1170 AM

I see on the Radio-locator.com website that WRPM Poplarville has a CP to move from 1530AM 10,000 watts 1 tower down to 1170 AM 2 towers. Not a whole lot of difference in the coverage map except its beaming more toward the southwest. Could they be moving away from 1530 to make room for the the new application for 1530 in Petal?

Maybe somebody can comment here... but IIRC, their signal (late 80s early 90s) didn't reach Blx/Gpt very well, so maybe a lower dial position might help. 10kw in a town the size of Poplarville always surprised me anyway... thought they might move that thing closer to the coast someday...
