WRPS 88.3 silent?

Two times earlier this month I was in Rockland MA and WRPS was silent. Anyone have any insight?

I drove by there yesterday and it didn't appear that anything has changed yet with the tower/antenna

Apparently, WRPS went silent on 11/29/12 to make the changes specified in their Construction Permit. It's too bad they didn't put a temporary backup system in place, in order to keep the station operating during the construction period. That's pretty easy to do. To me, IMHO, downtime is not an option. But, that's neither here nor there. I do hope they get things back on line quickly. It's a really good sounding station, well programmed and well engineered. It's been a preset for me for years.

From Dec 23:
>>They are currently off the air, while replacing their tower. They are a very good sounding station. I'm kind of surprised though that they didn't put a temporary stick to keep the station on the air for the local area, while replacing the tower. Oh, well. 'RPS will be back ASAP.

LOL. sorry for the redundant post. I totally forgot I had already posted. hahah
