That's pretty cool to find a recording like that in that kind of condition. Unfortunately, the audio files on the page are in RealAudio format, so you can't play them in something like iTunes or Windows Media Player.
Addendum: You CAN play the files in VLC media player, a freeware open-source media player that plays a whole bunch of different file formats.
Listening to the files, they are remarkably free of scratches and static. The RealAudio compression scheme, however, takes away a lot of clarity and muddies up the file a bit. But it's still fascinating to listen.
