Given that WPDH is 1 of 2 stations that IMO has a strong enough signal to run a successful HD broadcast, yes... It sort of does make sense.
I shudder when I think of the rest of the HV pea shooters going HD... your radio will consistantly be dropping back to analog as you drive throughout the area...
I guess a lot of Clear Channel Hudson Valley stations are going HD very soon by years end. WPKF, WRNQ, WCTW, WBWZ, WZCR, WRWD, WKIP and WHUC are suppose to go HD in the future. If all of the stations are going HD-2, we'll wait and see.
I think this is just temporary , like a test to see what effect it has on WPDH’s main signal , before committing to regular programming .Repeating WRRV on WPDH long term makes no sense at all .
