WRSA 96.9 interfering with 106.9?

I don't know if it's the tuner in my car radio going out or what, but I've noticed a lot of interference to 106.9 the Eagle around Madison, West Huntsville and Redstone Arsenal lately, Usually the eagle is loud and clear around Redstone, but yesterday I could hardly hear it, and I was clearly hearing Lite 96.9 bleeding all over it. I see there is a translator licensed to Trinity on 106.9 at 250w, but it's supposed to be carrying WQLT if it's even on the air, but I've never heard it anywhere within the area its supposed to cover.

I don't believe the WQLT translator has been on in at least 4-5 years... Last time I heard it barely reached US 31/I 65.

Sounds like WRSA may have a harmonics issue going on...

It is strange that 96.9 would be bleeding over on 106.9. That being said, keep in mind that 106.9 The Eagle isn't really supposed to come in well (if at all) where you are saying you are hearing it, so there may be days where you get it really well and days where you don't get it at all. I have also been able to pull in 106.9 around Madison very clearly myself fairly consistantly. Not surprising though with the signal being as big as it is. I used to be able to pick up 103.7 The Q sometimes too, even good enough to pick up the RDS on it, but not near as much since Hot 103.5 signed on.
