Wrsc

What's the deal with WRSC a&f? FM drops talk for "Happy 103," AM drops sports for what used to be on FM. We didn't need a second full time sports station, so good riddance. And the morning show sounds better with that good old fashioned AM static than it did on FM.

Hey radiocop! I guess it's only the two of us in this thread... I'm a radio nerd who has lived in SC most of my life and find the constant shuffling of radio formats here interesting. I have Sirius and listen to that mostly, but always check the terrestrial dial to see what's up.

1390 and 103 were simulcast for a while before 1390 became moneytalk for a couple years and then fanatic for only a few months. I knew something was up when they went back to old simulcast that is overkill. Not crazy about syndicated right-wing nut-jobs on 'rsc but I've always had a soft spot for "Uncle Kev' " in the morning since the 70's. I was hoping for an alt or AAA in SC like the old Revolution. Interesting that they picked another Classic Hits similar to WOWY but gotta admit that I like the mix. Pat Urban in morning drive is local, but I believe rest of day is syndy.
