A few questions:
When Herb Steadman and his family were operating WRSM, where did most of the revenue come from? Did WRSM broadcast any local sports? Was the station a money maker at any point in it's history? Did WRSM target mostly Sumiton and Dora, or Jasper as well? How far into the Birmingham 'burbs did this station go? Was it listenable at all on I-65?
Old B/C yearbooks show Herb as GM, Sara Steadman as PD, and Eric Steadman as CE. How many people worked for the Steadman's, other than family?
What kind of country music did WRSM play? It seems odd that Herb would own a country station, considering his history with WSGN...
Few people seem to know anything about this station, so thanks in advance.
