Let us know what they build on the site. I always thought they had to vacate the site because someone wanted to build there. Some big box store or something. Perhaps a politically connected business.
I believe that, pending completion of a proof of performance, an AM that is upgrading its facilities gets to run with its new site/patterns and the greater of its old powers or 1/4 of its new powers. In the case of WRTO, that would mean it would be running 1125W at night and not half of the CP 4500W. Now, how all this is affected by the new rule that does away with a full proof of performance in many cases, I don't know. Are any of WRTO's towers top loaded? If so, the new rule would not apply.
WRTO is getting out better than I've heard for years. However the bandwidth is so narrow that the bumper music sounds disgusting. Also I am hearing 1210 WILY from Centralia IL. in my car during the day. Thats a first for me.
