I heard exactly the same thing. The CP is nothing other than a city of license change; no change in transmitter site or power.
They would be INSANE to downgrade that signal... it's the only full height class C around and there aren't any signal problems in the Triangle. I hope they don't plan to do to 100.7 what they are doing to 106.1.
The most interesting thing in that spill about the CP that they had to air was the long structure of companies that make up Clear Channel. There had to be about 10 "wholly owned by" companies in a row.
I'd be interested in seeing those " wholly owned"! Do you think you could post a list or point me in a direction. I've got a personal reason for seeing them to see if an old station I had in Florida is included.
Well what's gonna ahpen after WRDU makes the move from Wilson to Knightdale, the WRDU old tower will be used for WRVA back up tower that's all I know for now.
Any word on possible format changes? 100.7? 106.1? "Kiss"mas is this Thursday, which means the stations playing "Kiss"mas music will be returning to their regular formats on Friday. This also marks the 2-year anniversary of Kiss on 93.9. Stay tuned...
