WRVR HAS JUMPED THE SHARK

I would like to write a long dissertation about this as well but American Idol is coming on in a few minutes. ;)

F.Y.I. Low temp in Boston tonight is ZERO. How is ZERO a temperature. Shouldn't it be 1 or -1?

If radio becomes simply a soundtrack, with nothing positive added that differentiates it from my mp3 player such as time, current weather, news, and other things a VT cannot give, BUT adds negatives (commercials), then I have a decision to make. Listen to a soundtrack where someone else picks the music or one I picked?

I firmly believe they are going the wrong way.

It's only January. Have fun with snow! I find the brown slush/mud/blargh mix you will find on the side of the roads a fine thing to look at (and step into).
Oh, and parking lots...you won't see the grass until March...maybe.

Karson, they ever fix the public transit over on Soldiers Field RD? My stint @ BZ' there was no T line or bus in the area. Had to drive in every morning. Route 24 baby!

Side bar: There is a GREAT local sub/home cooking joint right behind your building. If I remember the name, I'll post it. They have Shepard's Pie, Lasagna, home made chicken pot pie, etc. I frequented that place quite often.

Thing is, my iPhone CAN give time, current weather (including weather where I'm actually "at"), current news, et al. Without all the commercial interruptions.

The sad reality is that much like newspapers, radio is on its way out.

Still no T near the station but I'm fortunate to have a spot underground at our building. I'll have to look for that restaurant.
