WRVR has done a nice job with the front page of their website. The snowflakes and lighted tree are a nice touch.

Larry is a website GOD!!! He helps me and the otehr girl wtih buzz's. His input and help is invaluable. He also did the video for Jingle Bell Rock, great job. for those don't know he's CFKane

I appreciate it, but it's a curse, and it's years of coffee, and practice. My advice, get as far from this added duty as you can. It's a total pain in the A**! The guy who's a "GOD" in this town, in my opinion, is the Flinn webmaster. Q107's website is flashtacular! And Tim Spencer certainly knows the key, is the content, and his hit counter shows it.

Websites are a wonderful thing, when they are more than a place for sales to put pop ups and assorted crap. Sites are little more than word docs with different code. The key is content, and freshness. Apply Dreamweaver, Flash, (The Mac versions, preferably.) and a reason to go, and they will. Appreciate the kind words, Buck. Again, get as far from it, as you can... You'll thank me later! CFKane

Thanks for the advice....The Q guy is full time I think and thats all he does I think, could be wrong. I do it in spare time between office work and remotes and other duties. One day I'll be fulltime I'm sure

The Q web guy is a girl. The original design was done by Thad Caperton, a guy. The web mistress has several responsibilities as we all do in radio and I think her design is top notch. I love that The Q has someone in our stations P1 demo that controls layout and content. I would imagine we are one of the few CHR's in the country that can make that claim.

Those that voted for the best "Memphis themed" web site has me a little confused too. You voted for a corperate template. I can take solice knowing that these are the same folks that voted Red Lobster as "best seafood". Maybe next year McDonald's can pick up "best ribs" for the McRib sandwhich.

First off it was a compliment with C. You have a great website. CFKane was being nice. There was no insult with an I. It was more CFKane and I b@#$ching bc we do the web on top of other stuff (heck I don't do much add a pic or two, Our webmistress does it all for the buzz and CFKANE for the River) 2nd the Buzz is done by a P1 her name is Jenny. 3rd Rock 103 is all about content, good content. (Not that your's isn't) And on the Red Lobster best seafood, take a look at the the best service winner, Hueys-have you ever eaten there, great food not so good service.

I appreciate the compliment and I wasn't saying that The Q desrved to win but I would like to see a site with a little more "Memphis Soul" win for best "Memphis Themed" web site.

Are you serious? A typo is one thing, but you've raised the bar to a new level. Were you searching for the word "perpendicular" by any chance? Not even close. Oh well ... somebody has to make the french fries.

Hey isn't the job to pronounce it right? We have to spell it right too? My spelling teacher at Frayser just read "Rascal" to us, didn't really teach us anything, but again that was Frayser...before it moved to Bartlett!<P ID="signature">______________
