WRWD is actually the Poughkeepsie #1 in the Fall...

Saw the numbers on Radio and Records and I had to remind everyone about the new Arbitron system that you are reading.

What you see on R&R and All Access is COMBINED Spring and Fall '05 numbers. It's a new system that Arbitron is doing for markets like Poughkeepsie to try to be more accurate.

When it comes to Fall '05 alone (the old system), this is what the 12+ shaked up to be...

1.) WRWD A/F (Up over 2 shares from the Spring)
2.) K104
3.) WPDH (Almost a 3 share drop from the Spring 05)
4.) Kiss
5.) WHUD
6.) WABC-AM
7.) WRNQ (Lite FM)
8.) Star
9.) WRRB
10.) WFAN AM

Surprisingly enough, WKXP actually went up in the Fall to a 2.1. Definitely still not enough to warrant staying Country...especially with WRWD going up as much as it did.

When the Spring 06 numbers are announced on R&R, that will be combined Fall '05 and Spring '06.

Which means WPDH can't have another bad book again...

BTW - WPDH morning show did pretty good. Still WAY below what K&M were doing, and still #2 behind Tommy Lee Walker at WRWD

Excellent station! As I've said before, Clear Channel should buy up a stick in Westchester and simulcast thier signal into the northern NYC suburbs where the format is lacking.
