Real facts:
WRXP was acquired in a swap of WTZZ and WXMI TV stations which had just been acquired and which were given to Tribune in exchange for 101.9. Estimated valuation $160 million.

Value of 101.9 right now is likely in range of $75 million. This would be consistent with the valuation of the New Rochelle move-in being bought from Cox.

The decline in value is not Emmis' fault, it is the market, economy and lack of financing.

If anyone had the cash laying around it would probably already be sold, if not at their asking, close to it. What's on the frequency right now is irrelevant. Stick value is stick value.

The logical (of course this is radio and logic does not count) solution is for Emmis to swap their NY and Chicago stations for a bunch of Citadel’s smaller clusters. (Knoxville, Chattanooga etc.). This would give Citadel multiple FM clusters in the #1 and #3 markets. Emmis gets a bunch of clusters in smaller cities which would be more a more stable source of cash and earnings. There would be minimum tax issues for either party.

Of course Citadel is temporally distracted by R2’s declaring Farid’s stock deal (or steal) bankruptcy fraud.

I am not a lawyer but you do not say that kind of thing without proof or you could get sued. I suspect (and hope) with in a year or two, someone else will be running Citadel.

If you read the link (from this website on the post before your post), R2 stated that the CEO of Citadel was trying "steal" shares. If someone acused me of fruad (in a public statement) I would sue if it was not ture!
