Is it just me or has RXP's audio sound low and dull? Their processing is too quiet for a rock station!! I have to turn up the volume just to hear this station which is a pain when i flip from station to station! Does this bug anyone else? ???
 
I have noticed the same thing this morning. This station cant even get it's audio right. I have a HD Radio and their HD-2 channel which is Smooth Jazz sounds better than RXP.
 
I noticed it tonight. Not only did it sound low and dull, but pretty distorted as well. I caught them when they were playing "London Calling" and it sounded like the song was being played through a drive-thru intercom.
 
Wow, then i'm not crazy! They've been on the air for like a year and change and they still can't get their audio right! I noticed once that they actually were adjusting the audio, sounded good for the time being, then went back to being fatigued! It's so bad i can't listen to them anymore! It's more comforting listening to unprocessed 64 kb mp3's!!
 
I haven't heard the station, but why should lower in volume be a bad thing? You can always turn up the volume on your radio.

A station that is slightly lower in volume can sound significantly better than the others.
Just a slight reduction in loudness can bring a huge improvement in sound quality.

Trust me, it's far more than lower volume. Did you read my post above? The audio sounds muffled and distorted.
