WRXW 93.9 is now...

I was relieved when I heard them this morning. I'm very glad they got rid of Lex & Terry. I didn't like them from the start. Any idea who's going to do the rest of the shifts?

Good riddance Lex and Terry. Everytime I tried to listen to them it seems they were having a contests as to how many times per hour someone could say the word "bitch" or "ass". The problems with these morning shock jock types is that they try so hard to be cutting edge and hip and they still come off sounding like a bunch ****** bags. Remember when your friends turned 13 and for some reason they thought that gave them a license to curse and tell dirty jokes? (and 13 yo kids jokes usually suck) Thats what Lex and Terry's show reminded me of.

Maybe when they move to Pear Orchard they'll have a decent studio to work out of...'cuse me...out of which to work. (That better, Barber?)
The set up on Beasley was never meant for anything live. It was built to do production for
WVIV "Stardust" and a little morning news with John Friskillo.
Good luck to Brad. He's a good guy...and has the talent to grow the mornings for 93.9

I'll be glad when they move to Pear Orchard too. I was scared to go pick up a prize or visit when they were on Beasley Rd. Brad really is a great guy. I've known him for as long as he's been here and he's always quick to take time out to speak to fans and doesn't get a big head about it either. Ok, enough man-crushing...I'll stop.

I'm sure Rock 93-9 will make its move to South Pear Orchard Road very soon.

And I'm sure 94-7 Jack FM will make its move to Highpoint Drive very soon.

WRXW (Rock 93-9)

Neither buyer wanted the 222 Beasley Road property. Backyard still owns it

They must be facing some difficulties getting the phones installed. Joe Knight had to give out his cell phone # for the Rock-a-holic of the Day contest this afternoon...

I caught the tail end of the old-new morning show. They sounded really excited and I hope I get to catch them again during one of my almost daily trips to Carthage. Can't pick them up very well in Philadelphia. :-(

Why? Surrounding area too black for you?

Lol. Goldy, thank you for possibly the most funny thing I'll see or hear today. Hard to imagine a 93.9 listener feeling threatened by their environment---wait, that would be stereotyping, wouldnt it?

Based on the news reports of crim'nals breaking into and vandalizing station vehicles lately,Beasley sounds safer than other places around these parts.

How true Tim.

The criminal element has finally discovered the street value of radio station t-shirts, a few stray CDs and logo'd cups. But according to our latest batch of thieves, they obviously have discriminating taste, as they took Y's CDs and did not TOUCH a whole box of country discs in the US van. Maybe country is in a down cycle.

i guess it's hard to convey sarcasm on a "forum" with out using the [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] tags...
