WRXZ update

As of this morning (07/25/2005), WRXZ-106.1 FM Sylvester/Albany, "aka" Hot 106, was still off the air. In fact, it was all silence, all the time, although the stereo light was still on.

Anybody care to share what's going on here?

I have been told that they are locked out of their studio for failure to pay back rent. On-Top is having some serious money trouble apparently.

I tuned in the other day (07/26/2005), and it seems WRXZ is back on the air. Apparently the automation had to be reloaded. But you're right, rfburns, it seems like On Top is having more than its share of problems. It's only a matter of time, IMHO, before 106.1 is either sold, or goes off the air altogether. It'll be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks and months.
