WSAH-DT's ESB Application

Discussion has popped up over on the New York City TV forum about WSAH-DT's petition to relocate to the Empire State Building on channel 41. Since Ron from WSAH floats around here, I was wondering if he could shed some light on what the status of this application is. I've seen no action by the FCC on it, have you heard anything you can share with us?

You know better, I can't and won't comment on this, that would be a violation of ethics.

But I will say this, I personally don't believe the FCC will even look at these applications until after June 12, as its a POST transition maximization.

The FCC already approved most of the post-transition channel change requests they received. The majority of the ones remaining are awaiting Mexican or Canadian coordination, and even some of those are starting to go through.

The ones that confuse me are the ones where no action at all has been taken by the FCC that I can tell. Some of them make sense, like the conflicting petitions in the DC area or the WBRA-DT "backup petition" (not sure why the FCC lets that stand), but there are a few that just seem to be sitting there, like this one.

And I fail to understand how I should "know better" given that plenty of other folks at other stations I've communicated with shared plans once those plans were submitted with the FCC and thus made public, as this one has been. Not starting an argument, I just don't understand.
