WSAI building to meet the bulldozer

"Sam Jones " running the board all night in the early 80's while the AM was on the Network .
Sam would not only run the spots for the breaks in the programming ; he would doing his own
show on the CB radio ( ground plane antenna on roof ) screaming at the truckers on I-75 and
cussing out the CB operators of different ethnic backgrounds on the air . I recall a few times
walking down the hall around 3am in the monring from the mens room and seeing Sam in the
side office with a female . This was no unusal ! I last saw Sam Jones standing in the hall with
Bennie ( McKnights Assistant ) looking into my studio window circa 1990-91......

Interesting how the notes left by the girls crazy about The Beatles in 1964 are still on the east side of the building. Someone needs to find out what brand of paint they used. The manufacture could use it in their ads - "Love Notes to Beatles Done in XXX Paint Survived Cincinnati Weather for over 45 Years.......lasting through blizzards, 100-degree summers, pouring rain.....etc".

Yea baby! This was back when radio was fun. Before these bastards that currently run it sold it's soul chasing the all mighty dollar.

Was it was lead paint? Any lawyer or widow of a Chinese Toy executive will tell you is a bad thing.
