WSAI Drops The Ball

Well I hope U of L gets a credit from CC&E for five OT's missed.

Otherwise we may have to find another outlet here for the Louisville fans.

Louisville pays to be on the air in Cincinnati. That's the ONLY reason that broadcast airs on a Cincinnati station.

After going to the final four, BB.... wining the Sugar Bowl,FB.. in the same year....and you don't think they have fans in Cincinnati/NKY... Come on folks they are a team with allot of regional support.

The answer. No. UL does not have a lot of regional support in Greater Cincinnati. The out of town schools that are relevant, are tOSU UK, and ND, followed by maybe Miami of Ohio. UL is little more than a blip.

And on the KY side, that is UK country. N KY is a very blue region.

From a sports perspective, I'm not a UL fan, but I always root for them in any UL/UK match up.

Apparently U of L is doing something right according to Forbs They are the most profitable college sports team in the nation. That money must be coming from somewhere other than the city of Louisville.

All of last night's U of L - St. John's game was heard opn WCKY. However, right at the end of the postgame portion from back at the studio with Sid Jenkins, ESPN Radio began at midnight right after a commercial break on the Card's Network.

Why should U of L pay for the YUM! Center when the state fair board owns it? They just pay rent much like UK pays the city of Lexington for Rupp.

I don't think the local CC folks were interested in picking up Ohio State, though it'd be nice if OSU was on a station other than 1480.

Clear Channel hosts are way too interested in bashing Ohio State in every way, shape and form to actually air the games.

Who cares anyway. The team is a loser anyway.

That loser team won the Big East championship. And the is number one seed over all. Not bad for a bunch of losers dude! Maybe that's why they have an affiliate in Cincinnati. Because they know how to win.

If Siva can stay in the game a few minutes before getting his second or third foul!!!

IT gets back to local programming. Not a unattended Computer..WSAI should go back to Local oldies like it once was..It sounded great when they moved to WCKY frequency of 1530. But Clear Channel poisons everything they own...
