WSAR 1480 Fall River

I don't know about Central Connecticut. At night the signal bounces a lot further, so I wouldn't be surprised. During the day driving along I-95 South to New York I have got the signal at the first Exit into Connecticut where the McDonalds is. Exit 93 I beleive.

I remember hearing that same exact CBS Radio networks Channel 42 Beep a couple of different times on 920 WHJJ. Back in the 80's WHJJ would always have automated malfunctions. On several occasions they would accidently simulcast WNBC New York for long periods of time. I think they rebroadcast WNBC's signal for about two hours one night. It was great to hear commercials for Imus and Howard Stern on a Providence radio station! You think they would have had a better back up plan for malfunctions. Apparently many stations still don't.
