BIA Kelsey released their top 10 billings rankings for 2020 yesterday, and Atlanta's WSB/WSBB-FM was #4 in the U.S. with $30 million.
I remember in the late 90's when WSB was billing $40 million and was not in the top 10. Note, however, that in 2020, many advertisers stopped spending because of COVID. And of course, radio billings have been declining.
IMHO, WSB is an excellent-sounding station that has modernized over time. It also has increased its local programming hours. The one downside is the amount of infomercials on weekends, but WSB is smart about it, running their news and promos in the programming to make it sound like regular shows. And I find a couple of their paid financial programs interesting.
