WSB 95.5 Now on The River HD3

Noticed this earlier this week. The River's HD 3 channel is now broadcasting 95.5 WSB.

Amigo

I wonder if this might be to backfill some coverage WSBB lost in NE Georgia when the transmitter moved from the Chateau Elan tower (which it shared with The River) to downtown.

I'm assuming TOSOTR is still on the HD2.

That's correct. It's outside the metro so it doesn't help them with the PPM. But I guess it satisfies people who had lost a good signal up there.

93.5 covers a little in Gainesville/Cleveland/Dahlonegs when 95.5 gets too choppy (95.5 is still louder.).

95.5 used to boom in up here; more people are switching to WDUN.

The new legal ID is:

WSBB-FM WSBB-HD1 Doraville and AM 750 WSB Atlanta.

I do not have an HD radio since I changed cars. Did they turn on an HD-2?
