I think this is a great idea. They are sure promoting it strongly on the air. AM 750 and NOW 95.5 FM NewsTalk WSB!
The imaging does sound really excellent.

It's a shame, because it was once a respected station.

With the right ground conductivity, WSB's daytime ground signal could easily cover a 250 - 300 mile radius much like WGN in Chicago, or WLW in Cincinnati does now. WSB's nighttime signal isn't an issue, considering that it covers 38 states and parts of Canada.

I am showing my age, but it use to be in a big open field out there which was sort of wet and marshy.. It really should be moved, I agree. Too much interference with all of the crap built up around it.

Being that WSB is a 50K watt clear channel, I would think that the issue of moving the transmitter a few miles in any direction would be a lot less than moving an FM or TV transmitter, where moving a tower even a few miles can cause interference to another station on the same frequency.
