WSB AM/WSBB FM - Monday Morning Announcment

This whole thing is such non-news. *yawn*

That is just silly to say on a radio oriented website. Whether you like him or not, you cannot deny his success and skill. I can't stand Howard Stern, but my respect as a broadcaster for his skills as a broadcaster is immense.

Put your politics aside and stop hating.

It is non-news in the way WSB said it will be the most important announcement of the year or whatever phrases they were using. After the buildup we were getting about this HUGE announcement I feel this was a let down. It is important, but not the the level that WSB was hyping it.

Maybe I did not communicate it well, but my comment was meant as sarcasm about, in my view, WSB's false hype.

I received 2 email bulletins about the announcement, and they were NOT from Atlanta based organizations. Yeah, it was big. You may not understand or like it, but yeah, it was big. And when a dominant local air personality with a national reputation retires, it IS huge. Boortz is the big gorilla to everyone else's rhesus monkeys.
