WSB has new weather girl Katie Walls

Looks to be a younger version of Karen Minton. This is their 5th weather person. Katie will be seen a lot on the weekends, she told viewers.

Board Monitor.....posted in the wrong section. Please move to the Atlanta TV thread.

Word is David Chandley has turned in his resignation...so that'll bring them back to 4.

UPDATE:
Today WSB meteorologist David Chandley announced he is leaving to find a "chief meteorologist job" somehwere. Glenn Burns holds that position at WSB.

So, FOX 5's Chief Meteorologist Ken Cook is retiring sometime this summer. Bets are on that Chandley will take his position. WAGA would be foolish to pass on a proven local talent with such appeal. As often happens, news and weather talent just move from one station to another within the same market.

I think Chandley was the best weather person at WSB. Burns is ok, but he seem to rely on computer too much. His 70% chance of rain often turns out to only be 20%!

Totally Agree...probably could not find a better place to work without leaving 'home' and well established local 'clout'
