WSB is launching a new 3pm news hour Monday

Beginning this Monday May 18th WSB is launching a 3pm news hour hosted by Wendy Corona and Linda Stouffer.

They normally only do this leading up to elections but this may be a permanent change with the Kelly Clarkson show ending and freeing up their 3pm slot.

I assumed that they would have brought back the Tamron Hall show for the 3pm block after Kelly Clarkson announced that her show was ending but I guess not.IMG_1818.png
 
I learned today, via this article, that the newscast is once again temporary.

WSB-TV has decided to offer local news until our next program is ready to launch.

This means that the newscast will go away come September.

Not anymore since the show was given up to WUPA CBS Atlanta.

They made it seem like it was a permanent change leading up to the 3PM premiere today. So I guess this bumps their Cox Media Group "National News Tonight" show that they never talk about to 2:05AM?
