WSB John Pruitt and Justin Farmer

The AJC is reporting that Justin Farmer will be hired to take John Pruitt's place later this year. Justin Farmer is from WFAA in Dallas and is the son of former WSB-TV's Don Farmer. Justin Farmer's contract is not up until August, but apparently they are ready to hire him to transition him into the main anchor chair. The AJC said that WSB-TV will be making an announcement later today on the situation.

Assumption is John Pruitt is retiring. Any more info?
 
It's been a little while now...I was wondering if anyone knows when Farmer is joining the Action News team and if John does indeed plan on retiring soon?
