WSB on Iheartradio

I see that WBS-AM is now offered on Iheartradio. I thought Iheartradio was just Clear Channel stations. Did Cox sell WSB or something? Does anyone know why they are on Iheartradio?

CC (Clear Channel) has "opened" Iheartradio to other companies. Cumulus has it's stations on IHeart too. Several other smaller broadcasting groups on IHeart also. The only "major" exception I can think of is CBS.

Thanks for the information. I thought that may be the case but could not find any news about it. I appreciate the response.

yeah, cbs uses radio.com which personally, I like better since you have more control of the stream quality which is important in the world of limited data.

CC owns iHeartRadio. CC has a deal with Cumulus for IHR be the exclusive streamer for Cumulus stations; in exchange, CC is promoting Cumulus's SweetJack. CC has a deal with Cox for IHR to be a NONexclusive streamer for Cox stations (meaning you can still get Cox stations on TuneIn).

CBS owns radio.com.
