WSB Radio & WSB-TV ???

Good afternoon,

I'm new to the area, but was just curious, is WSB Radio (what is their frequency?) and WSB TV owned by the same company? Also, what does WSB Radio broadcast.

New to the area, still finding and trying new radio and TV stations...

Thanks!

WSB AM-FM and TV are owned by Cox. WSB-AM (750 kc) is a heritage AM station (the first in the South), with local news/weather/traffic and sports in morning drive and syndicated talk for most of the rest of the day (except late night). Scott Slade hosts the morning drive doings, Neal Boortz, Clark Howard and Sean Hannity the other dayparts. Boortz and Howard, syndicated nationally, originate at WSB-AM. Chris Krok is the only truly "local" program on WSB. That show airs weeknights. The station has but one "sports property," the Georgia Bulldogs. Bulldog football and basketball air prominently in the Fall and Winter. WSB-FM (B 98.5) has an adult contemporary format.

Although I realize this is a radio board, I might
add that WSB-TV (analog Channel 2, digital
Channel 39) is the ABC affiliate. Its newscasts
are titled Channel 2 Action News; the main anchors
are John Pruitt and Monica (Kaufman) Pearson.

I know this was previously stated above that WSB-FM and WSB TV are both owned by Cox. I also wanted to say that you left out that WSB-AM is also owned by Cox too.
