WSB Technical Question

Frank, It's not radiodicussions but will Cox let it's employees post. I know a local cluster manager will not allow private postings. All social media is to be ran on the company's accounts. You even have to "friend" him on your facebook". Of corse you could use a fake name and hope to not get caught. My advice is to really read the employment contract very closely.

Craig Ashwood (as in Jazz Flavours on 94Q/Star 94 and now with Cox) chimes in from time to time.

It is very dangerous to post anything about your employer in social media. It would be difficult for any company to disallow general social media participation but most will kick you out the door if you go to spreading the company's dirty laundry in public or discuss any kind of propriety "insider" information.

Don't take your business on the street. Ever. A mantra for anyone in broadcasting - or pretty much any other commercial endeavor.
Let others speculate, and laugh or be amazed, depending on the accuracy of their surmises. Neither confirm nor deny if it refers to your business.

Craig Ashwood is retired from Cox and mostly communicates via Facebook these days. He is also disabled but keeping his connections on Facebook laughing with his daily quips.
