WSB-TV lifts Jimmy Kimmel blackout

What are we going to talk about now? ;D

Seriously, I'm not surprised Channel 2 finally
picked up Kimmel, since Bill Hoffman was the
first Cox-owned ABC-affiliate station manager
to put him on (at WFTV). I was looking at some
comments on this at accessatlanta, and some of
the people are glad Greg Stone is no longer around.
Stone didn't like change; Hoffman, who's about
thirty years younger, at least is more open-minded
(or so it appears).

I hope you folks do start getting GMA Weekend, but
I don't recall that Hoffman carried that in Orlando.

BTW, does anyone know if WSOC/9 Charlotte is
going to pick up Kimmel as well? I think they're the
last holdout on the entire ABC network.

Just saw this story and posted it on the National board. WSB gets Kimmel next week with WSOC picking it up the following week. WSB will carry it right after Nightline; not sure about WSOC. And you're right, these were the last two holdouts on the entire ABC network.
 
Well, I will miss the repeat of the 11PM news. I am usually up and that is when I watch. Between 5 and 2, I would rather watch 2... too bad 11 does not repeat at that time of the night.

I think the replay of the 11PM news will move to 1:05 AM or 1:35 AM. The updated listings are not out yet, so we will find out soon.

11 waits until 3 AM, after Poker After Dark and
before the repeat of Atlanta & Company.
